Susan pondered for years the idea of how to infuse healing properties in her paintings. As a way to integrate more textural effects, she first initiated the approach with the Nature’s Resurgence series. The series is an early step in experimentation as Susan incorporates dried herbs into the background of an energetic, floral composition. Subtle yet bold–this series directly correlates to the endless possibilities of nature’s healing capabilities and potential for regrowth.
