Georges Bergès Gallery presented Renewal, a solo exhibition of work by Susan Swartz curated by world renowned art historian and critic Donald Kuspit. The exhibition coincided with Swartz’s two-person installation at the Palazzo Bembo in Italy during the 60th Venice Biennale alongside Laddie John Dill.

Renewal showcased Swartz's exquisitely nuanced brushwork and extraordinary use of color with paintings that depict nature in all its seasons. Swartz invites viewers into an intimate relationship with nature, her close-ups serving as reminders of our dependence on the natural world.

Curated by Donald Kuspit.
